Our most advanced automatic spreader system, designed for large sandwich panel manufacturing using three-component polyurethane adhesive with adaptive cure-time formulation.
How it works
The spreader moves in a reciprocal pattern across both X and Y axes, applying adhesive in a continuous diamond bead pattern. A metering pump unit mounted on the machine itself controls the blend between the two A-components (A1 fast and A2 slow) and the B-component.
The formulation is computed continuously based on the panel’s build time and the ambient temperature, using mathematical relationships derived from data provided by the adhesive manufacturer. The result: every adhesive bead applied during the panel build cures at the same time.
Spreader options
Two configurations are offered:
• Disposable spreader — thrown away after use once the adhesive has cured. No cleaning required.
• Steel spreader — reusable, with optional fully automatic cleaning cycle.
